Welcome to “Seren-i-tees”! If you are visiting this site, then you are someone who has had the experience of seeking serenity in your life. That is how I came to create this company. I can truly say that for most, if not all, of my life, I felt something was missing and my quest was to find whatever “it” was that would fill that hole. We each seek to find “it” in different ways, some that are healthy and some that are not. Whatever journey we have taken, the reward of finally coming to a place of serenity is wondrous and joyful.
It was only recently that I came to experience serenity in my life and I can truly say that I treasure it beyond belief. I became so amazed and grateful for this gift, that I wanted to celebrate it and wear it proudly. I found myself attracted to the Chinese symbol for serenity and began to wear this symbol on a necklace everday. I have to admit that I went so far as to have it tattooed on my ankle at this late stage in my life! The gratitude and the excitement I experienced, I wanted to share with others and so “Seren-i-tees” was born.
I find the Oriental style artwork a good pairing with the concept of serenity because of its beauty and simplicity. I pair the artwork with some of my thoughts on serenity or the quotes of others on the subject. I have many ideas for new designs and a variety of merchandise and my hope is to expand from this small beginning. I am excited to begin and look forward to “meeting” you on my site.
